Australian Wool Handlers is the original operating division of AWH Pty Ltd which was established in 1998. It was initially created to provide economies in warehousing and export services for Australia’s wool industry. As a specialist in wool logistics, AWH is Australia’s only complete end-to-end service provider from farm gate to ship, handling approximately two-thirds of Australia’s annual wool clip.
AWH’s wool division sets new standards in wool handling performance through continuous investment in machinery automation and new technology.
To achieve greater efficiencies and exceed customer expectations for service delivery, Australian Wool Handlers also invests heavily in computerized inventory management systems. Wool inventory management software is developed by an in-house software development team and mobile RF technology is used extensively to ensure information is accurate up to the second.
