AWH’s cotton division was established in 2005 with its base in Sydney and additional storage facilities in Brisbane and Melbourne. This coverage provides cotton exporters with the ability to source cotton from all cotton growing regions. It also allows complete flexibility in meeting shipping requirements down the entire eastern seaboard of Australia.
AWH’s cotton logistics team has a wealth of experience in cotton management and handling. In addition, by utilising its own in-house software development team, AWH has developed a comprehensive computerised system for cotton inventory management. The system extensively utilises mobile computing RF technology to enable clients to transmit and receive up-to-date data in real-time. All of AWH’s systems are designed to meet the modern demands of each individual client.
All sites are fully equipped with a modern well-maintained fleet of forklifts and front-end loaders, to allow for the timely and efficient receival, storage and dispatch of product on behalf of customers.
